Market Update – June 2018

Oakville has seen a decrease in average price of home sales in the month of June compared to last year, the prices has dropped by 0.2%.

The total number of new listing was 676 lower than 2017 by 15.2%, however we had an increase in sales 371 sold which is more by 5.7% than June 2017.

Average number of days to sell a detached home was 29, semi-detached: 25, condo-townhouse: 37, condo-apartment: 36, and Attached/Row/Townhouse: 33.

Listing prices vs sales prices were extremely close. A detached home sold for 96.4% of the listing price, semi-detached: 98.3%, condo-townhouse: 96.65.1%, apartment: 97.05%, and townhouse: 97.12%.

June 2018 Oakville Real Estate Update is showing an almost balanced market with inventory of 2.8 months.
